Somebody Tell the Truth
Real life, Real issues, Real People ... The Hit Play "Somebody Tell the Truth" was inspired by the true stories of Four Clarksville Tennessee residents, with an almost deadly connection! A Gang Banger who serves time in maximum security prisons from Texas to the east cost; his violent escapades in the penitentiary led to him become a national leader in one of the largest gangs in the United States. Ultimately, his skillful hands to fight are transformed into brilliant hands for God to inspire the world as a multi talented musician! Next there is the Stripper, who was raised in the single parent home of a female preacher. The night life of stripping, drinking, drugs and Alcohol almost destroy her life ... But through some almost miraculous events the stripper sings her way into the spotlight of the city and becomes The New Voice of Worship and praise! Then there is the Runaway, who found out while at school one day ... "that her momma didn't want her anymore". She eventually is sent to more than thirteen different foster homes and detention centers and spends her life on the run from tthe authorities. In her desperation to survive she finds herself caught up in a world of prostitution, drugs and violence, but her desire to live was stronger than the pain from her past; eventually The Runaways compelling story ironically begins to inspire teenage girls all over the city! Finally there is the Hustler, big dreams, big money, women and drugs set this young mans life on a destructive path, but an almost deadly turn of events turn this hustling night club owner into a potential minister and law student as a testament to the entire City ...
